Dog Travel to Bali: Is It Possible?

I have been told it may not be possible to move our two dogs to Bali. Is this advice still current?

Hi Gilbert,
According to the latest information we're aware of, cats and dogs may not be imported to Bali. The country has struggled with a high incidence of rabies over the years (largely to do its population of stray dogs), so in order to curb this problem Bali has enacted strict import rules.
To double check or to find out about any possible upcoming changes, we recommend contacting the Bali Ministry of Agriculture or Department of Veterinary Services directly.
