Sedation Questions & Pet Travel to Japan
Hi PetRelocation,
I am moving to Japan from the U.S. and we have two cats. I was planning on sedating them, but after researching a little I realized it's harmful to sedate pets during air travel.
My female is extremely nervous and stressed going anywhere, so I'm not sure how I am going to get her through a 16 hour flight. Any advice would be appreciated!

Thank you for your question! It's true, sedation is not recommended for pets traveling by air, and actually airlines won't even accept pets who have been sedated. Here is more information about why pet sedation during travel isn’t a good idea.
