Pet Car Travel in 2011: Fido Friendly’s Rover Guide

Even though we deal with pet transportation on a large scale and spend much of our time studying relocation resources and discussing pet flying tips, here at PetRelocation.com we're interested in the day-to-day realities of being a pet owner, too. Any time you leave the house with your pet, whether it's for a vet visit, a trip to the park, or a vacation, there are a million things to think about.

Luckily, the auto industry has noticed that many of us travel with our dogs on a regular basis (remember our holiday pet travel survey?), and they have begun to design accordingly. Several cars, trucks and SUVs now feature specific pet-oriented additions like expanded cargo areas, foldable seats and tri-section temperature controls.
