Many people will be traveling with pets this summer, and overall the pet industry is booming. It's no surprise, then, to read news like this: Virgin Australia has launched a new frequent flyer program specifically for pets.
Called the Velocity program, this plan allows its four-legged participants to earn points each time they fly in the Virgin Australia domestic network. Virgin Australia says they fly almost 30,000 pets per year around the country, so this program aims to reward those pet-loving travelers and encourages families to continue to bring their pets along for the ride.
