Moving pets to Indonesia

Meet Lilly!  She's a pet we're moving from Anchorage, Alaska to Jakarta, Indonesia.  If that seems like a big trip, then you'd be right.  Moving pets to Indonesia is never a simple task but with English bulldogs, things can get even trickier.

How many airports does it take to get an English Bulldog to Indonesia?

If you said seven, you'd be right.

Because Lilly is an English Bulldog and considered to be "at risk" because of her snub-nose, we have to make sure she flies on pet-safe, pet-friendly airlines that will keep her in climate controlled conditions throughout her flight.  She'll fly from Anchorage to Minneapolis, then drive to Chicago to fly from O'Hare to Amsterdam.  In Amsterdam, she'll have a layover at the pet hotel before continuing on her flight from Amsterdam to Jakarta (which has a short stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).

We're doing everything we can to make sure Lilly will have a comfortable trip, including making sure her crate is big enough and that she gets used to it well in advance.

In the meantime, Lilly gets to keep doing her favorite things like playing fetch with sticks (and begging for food!).
