Budget Travel has a great list of "14 Weird Animals You Can Travel to See."  Near the top of the list is the Naked Mole Rat, which we have actually moved internationally before.  However, if you want to check out a naked mole rat in its natural habitat you'll have to travel to Kenya!

New Species of Bird Found in Laos

A new species of bird has been found in Laos - the aptly named Bare Faced Bulbul. 

Cute or not cute?  One of my coworkers thinks the bird looks like "skeksis" from the movie the Dark Crystal.
