An interesting article about cities becoming more pet friendly is making the rounds today.  In the article, Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce's director of tourism, Jessica Icenhour, is quoted as saying that "Pet travel is becoming an important travel trend that will continue to grow as visitors include pets in their travel plans and weekend getaways."
