PET FRIENDLY TRAVEL TO GENEVA, SWITZERLAND

Switzerland is a delightful country with beautiful mountains and lakes as well as green meadows to run in. There are cuckoo clocks, cheese and country markets to explore; and that’s just the beginning. There’s also Switzerland’s most famous landmark; the Matterhorn with year round snowboarding and a terrific rocky peak for you to explore safely in any number of tours.

Also do make time to visit Geneva’s lake front, the colorful flower clock, St Peter’s Cathedral and the Reformation Wall while in this modern city as well as the attractive and dynamic city of Lausanne.

Why not discover the sights and lovely scenery of Geneva’s surrounding countryside in a leisurely, ecological, healthy and invigorating manner? On a bicycle, of course! With Fido securely seated in a basket together you will find yourselves in the country amidst the vineyards, forests, fields and brooks in no time. Do stop to relax in one of the charming villages which dot the landscape and say hello to the locals!

Geneva is the culinary capital of Switzerland and an impressive array of haute cuisine restaurants and bistros with classic or innovative cuisine du terroir - in the city and in the country - attract a remarkable number of people to the Rhône city. This is a region that delights in traditional flavors and Genevans still enjoy their classics such as Longeole, a raw sausage which is not completely matured, made from coarse-grained meat and the gelatinous parts of pig, often spiced with wild fennel, garlic, muscat nut and white wine.
