We came across a great feature on Martha Stewart's pets section today (which, by the way, we cannot get enough of!).  It's an interactive search engine to help users find pets to adopt in their area.

A quick search for dogs in the Austin area (just looking!  I promise!) returned several at Austin's Town Lake Animal Shelter.  Martha Stewart's site even pulls up the details on the pets when you click on their names -- the pet's likes and dislikes, as well as name, breed and approximate age.

Check out this sweet old man we found. Hm...maybe I'm not "just looking" after all!
