She's here, she's here, she's here! I'd just gotten through emailing my family and sending them pictures of Boo in her new temporary quarantine home. Will and I went out there for a couple of hours today to make sure she'd made the trip ok and that she would be well taken care of for the next 7 days. The facilities were as nice as one could expect from a quarantine place, and Dr. Socka was absolutely wonderful. He immediately filled up a bucket of water for her and hooked up a fan in her cage to help cool her off. I don't know who was the most excited - us to see her or her to see us (or her just to be on safe, solid ground once again)! She seemed to handle everything just fine. Thank you to you and your team for helping with all of the arrangements. You have no idea how happy we are to finally have her here with us....or in the same country at least. We'll REALLY be happy when she's out of quarantine and at the house with us, but hopefully these next 7 days wills just fly by for her and us.

I have to admit it was a little bittersweet seeing her today without Gus arriving by her side, but at least we still have her, and we'll be sure to give her all the love and attention we've missed giving her over the last 3 months!

Can you tell me if there will be any restrictions on what time of year pets can and can't travel on the airlines? The new puppy will be 5 months old in August but we don't know if the airline allows them to fly during the hot Texas summer months or not. Please advise!

Hi Matt,

At long last Kona's ordeal is over and she is happy in her new home with Judi and family. We saw her last night on Skype and she looked none the worse for wear. Thank you for all your attention to getting her there safely and for being available when we were all on pins and needles. Don't know how Kona would have gotten to South Africa without your help.

We are all resting easier now after a few unnerving days and we hope you get a well-deserved day or two off as well.

"The easiest, most worry-free pet shipment we have ever undertaken."

Just letting you know we called into Pet Paradise to visit Molly yesterday afternoon after we landed in Houston. She was doing fine and seemed quite happy - though she did her best to get us to take her home with us.

We are now in our apartment and after a quick trip to the supermarket yesterday to get some cat food, litter tray etc, we are all organised and very much looking forward to her arrival this morning.

I just wanted to say that Scotty has made our pet transport experience thus far extremely easy.

He is quick to reply to emails, always contactable by phone, and never fails to reassure us that things will be ok. All of our documentation was taken care of, and NOTHING has fallen through the cracks (we figured out how easy it is for that to happen when we brought the critters up from Brazil...what a nightmare...but we didn't know about you guys at the time).

Hi Scotty!

Through the magic of the Internet (and my husband's laptop's webcam!) I saw the cats as they arrived safe and sound! Niko immediately headed for the litter box, Sasha ran to the kitchen and buried her head in her food dish, and Marmalade is looking around as if to say, "Where the heck am I?" All is well and my husband is very, very happy to be reunited with the kitties! They are such an important part of our family!
