Alanis was born and raised just outside of New York City, and now lives nearby in Connecticut. She majored in English at Williams College in Massachusetts, where she graduated from in 2021. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs -- Krypto (a Brussels Griffon), Roo (a Pomeranian-Golden Retriever mix), and Roxy (another mix).
