Importing Cats to the USA
Attention: This information is to be used as general guidelines and may not be updated to meet the current requirements. Before you travel, be sure to contact the appropriate authorities or a PetRelocation Specialist.
For travel to the US from another country, you’ll need the following:
- Health Certificate (within 10 days of travel)
- Recommended Vaccines: Rabies, Feline enteritis (also known as Feline panleucopenia or Feline distemper), Rhinotracheitis and Calicivirus
Note: Cats are not required to have a current rabies vaccine, however, it is strongly recommended to vaccinate your pets since somet US states do require it.
