Question: I will travel to Argentina with my small size dog for 33 days, before I come back what documentation is necessary to entry US? Is the international certificate that I will take to enter Argentina valid to re-enter US or I need to go to a vet in Argentina to get a new international certificate? Answer: Hello Roxana!
Bringing your dog back into the United States is an extremely simple process. All he/she will need is to be up-to-date on his/her rabies vaccinations and to have an international health certificate issued by a vet within 10 days of departure. The international health certificate used to bring your dog into Argentina will have expired by this time, so you will have to have another one issued.
