What Type of Pets Do You Have?:
How was your experience finding pet care in your new country?:
Boarding facilities in Malaysia are normally done via the Vet.
The cat will be placed in a rather large cage in a separate room. But there is a lot of noise as there are dogs boarding in adjacent rooms and the smell is related to the indoor closure of dogs.
Any other suggestions?:
Scallywags in Kuala Lumpur is different and only allows boarding of cats
How was your pet(s) reaction to the new environment?:
My cat seems almost back to normal, he is still coughing a little bit as he got a cold this could be the plane ride or the air conditioning.
What's your favorite local hotspot that you've discovered?:
None so far, as in Malaysia animals are treated slightly different than we do in Europe and in Us
What are some things you miss the most about where you came?:
The range of variety in cat food and sand, you can get one type of science hill, and very few types of cat sand.
What was the best/worst part of your pet relocation?:
I visited my cat at the vet, and I was not prepared for the noise and the smell.
How long do you plan to stay in your new country?:
I am staying in Malaysia 2- 3 years.
Any other suggestions or helpful tips for pet owners living in your new country?:
Find good friends who can pet sit, as you cannot trust strangers and there is no pet sitting company available. So only boarding or good friends
