How was your experience finding pet care in your new country?:
No. England is a very dog friendly environment. My dog thinks he is in dog heaven. Everyone who sees him wants to pet him and he is allowed to walk off the leash in the woods without negative commentary from other walkers.
Any other suggestions?:
The UK is a great place to have a dog.
How was your pet(s) reaction to the new environment?:
He is still quite clingy but is very interested in all the different smells and the soft grass compared to the US.
What's your favorite local hotspot that you've discovered?:
We love the woods we have found behind where we live - Norsey Wood - millions of trails and lots of friendly dog people.
What are some things you miss the most about where you came?:
Nope
What was the best/worst part of your pet relocation?:
The best part of the relocation was having someone who could finally give me a definitive answer as to how the paperwork and importing procedure was to be dealt with. Matt Kincaid knew the UK regulations inside out and saved me from additional stress in an already stressful situation.
How long do you plan to stay in your new country?:
At least five years.
