Eve Hughes

Eve is based in Ohio and is part of the PetRelocation team, where she supports clients through the process of moving their pets around the world. She brings over eight years of experience in the veterinary field, starting at the front desk and growing into a leadership role where she helped run the day-to-day operations of a busy companion animal hospital. Her hands-on experience across all areas of the clinic allows her to anticipate challenges and support clients with confidence and clarity.
 

Eve began her career working with horses before transitioning into companion animal care, giving her a well-rounded background and deep understanding of animals of all kinds (with the exception of reptiles—some things just aren’t her thing).
 

Outside of work, Eve is a mom to a special needs child who is blind and autistic, a role that has shaped her patience, adaptability, and resilience—and with a household full of pets and a busy family life, she’s no stranger to coordinating a little chaos.
 

She enjoys spending as much time outside as possible, whether that’s working in her garden or going for walks.

At home, she has a full crew: Susie, a 3-year-old pit mix; Eddie, a 13-year-old shepherd/lab mix; and Mika, a 15-year-old domestic shorthair who prefers a quiet life as the resident basement dweller.
