Lydia Thurston

After earning degrees in English and Philosophy from Butler University, Lydia began a career in the events industry helping to plan and execute large scale events in Indianapolis. In 2025, she and her husband, Michael, decided to take a year off to volunteer on organic farms in Portugal and Scotland.

Lydia lives in Indianapolis with her husband and their four pets – a rescue pitty named after one of her favorite authors (Atwood) and three cats named after cheese (Gorgonzola, Halloumi, and Havarti). In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, spending time in the kitchen, and is always planning their next adventure!
