Friday Pet News: It’s (almost) all about Summer Pet Travel!
-We were excited to release the results of our Second Annual Summer Pet Travel Survey this week! The results show that pet travel rates are holding steady, with more and more people seeking out pet-friendly hotels and pet-friendly services in general.
-Since it sounds like you'll probably be taking your pets on the road with you this summer, it'd be a good idea to review these precautionary pet travel tips from Texas A&M University.
-Hotel Havana in San Antonio, opened by Austin entrepreneur Liz Lambert, was recently named one of the world's best hotels by Travel + Leisure and placed on the 2011 It List. This 27-room establishment happens to be pet-friendly, by the way (based on what we recently discovered about pet friendly hotel preferences, it comes as no surprise that many places are stepping up where we need them).
