Hi, I am traveling to Ghana this Christmas, and wanted to take my dog with me for about a month and half. What are the steps I need to follow so I can take my pet through immigration safely without any problems? I know I need health forms and veterinary clearance. Please help me. -Micheal
Thanks for the question. To get ready for your upcoming trip to Africa, you'll need to follow the guidelines outlined under the Pet Import Requirements for Ghana. The basic steps will include obtaining a microchip, rabies vaccination, an international health certificate and an import permit.
