More Giving Ideas: Austin Pets Alive! Year-End Dollar Dash
Earlier this week we discussed ways to assist shelters, rescue groups, and other animal organizations as you make your year-end giving decisions. Spoiling your own pets can be fun, but helping the greater animal community is a far more meaningful use of resources.
If you're thinking about making a donation (this is particularly geared towards all our Austin, Texas friends), here's a great cause to consider: the Austin Pets Alive! Year-End Dollar Dash. If APA raises $25,000 before Dec. 31, Best Friends Animal Society will match your donation.
If you're not in Central Texas and have your own local charity you'd like to give to, now is still a great time, as nothing makes you feel as warm and fuzzy as knowing you're helping to improve the lives of pets in need.
