Pet-friendly HAPPY Act continues to gain momentum

We wrote about the pet friendly HAPPY (or Humanity and Pets Partnered Through the Years) Act, a new bill that will make pet expenses tax free and proposed by Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, R-Mich, back in August.  A new ABC article and video about the act descrbies its gaining momentum, particularly in light of the “foreclosed pets” problem in America—the growing trend of pets who end up in shelters because their owners cannot afford to keep them.
