PET FRIENDLY TRAVEL TO LAS VEGAS

So youve decided to head for the casinos, and try your luck on the poker machines, card tables and roulette wheels of Las Vegas҅ as well as enjoy a fabulous show or two, or three? Although most of the larger flashy resorts dont allow patrons of the furry kind; obvious exceptions are to those whose owners gamble exhaustive wads of cash, as they could probably bring an elephant or hippo without raising too much concern! But for the rest of us regular folk; can we take our pets to Las Vegas? Well of course we can!

There is so much to see and do in Las Vegas and your sweet little pooch may or may not like all of the activity on the strip but one thing is for certain; you might be planning your return trip while still on the strip. Attractions, shows, bars and lounges and lots of restaurants will keep you very, very busy on your Las Vegas trip!

Gondola Ride at the Venetian: How romantic! Ride through the street of a mall gliding past cafes and sidewalks. Where else but Las Vegas! Hold on tightly to little Putt-Putt the puppy but Rocco the Rottweiler may have to sit this one out back at the hotel! Then check out The Gameworks Arcade in the Showcase Mall, the bright lights of Downtown Las Vegas as the Fremont Street Experience dazzles and entertains nightly on Fremont Street and visit Bonnie Springs Old Nevada which is an old western town in Red Rock Canyon 16 miles west of Las Vegas with a motel, petting zoo, shops, activities and western shootouts. Both Brutus and Putt-Putt will love all of these attractions!

Of course there are way too many casinos and shows to list; so take a virtual online tour and pick some out; or simply go to the ones near to where you are staying, as they are all absolutely fantastic!

Las Vegas restaurants offer some of the best dining in the world. From 5-star French cuisine to casual and quick fare, Las Vegas dining options are endless! To find where to eat in Las Vegas; itҒs a matter of following your nose or perhaps let Fido take the lead! For cheap eats try Uncle Joes pizza as they have $1 hot dogs and 99 cent shrimp cocktails. A tasty treat for everyone!

For a sweet tooth indulgence you canҒt go past Ethel M Chocolates for those chocolate cravings or if you want a taste of Vegas history, try Luv-It Frozen Custard, a Vegas institution. But for a new twist on an old standby, indulge in jelly-filled donut holes at Stack and the bananas Foster cheesecake at Kokomo's. In the morning; perhaps a fast paced long walk with whom else but Yours TrulyӔ to get rid of all those calorie laden treats?

Finding pet friendly accommodation in Las Vegas is as simple as doing a pet friendly hotel search online and then taking a closer look at those that appeal to you. Here are several that you may like to start with.
  • Four Seasons Las Vegas: 5 star resort hotel that allows dogs up to 25lb to stay with you and charges a pet fee of $250 per stay.
