Pet Move Customer Story: Chiku’s Move to Dubai

Name: Smitha
Pet's Name: Chiku
From: Bangalore, India
To: Dubai, UAE

When we decided that we were going to move to Dubai, UAE I was looking forward to it with excitement and apprehension. My pet-baby was 8 months at the time and is a Pug. When I started researching the movement process for dogs out of India, I found out that apart from all the tests that were required for importing pets to the UAE, it was going to be extremely difficult to move a snub-nosed breed between countries.

After going through two other pet relocation companies that could not give me possible options to move him out of the country and turning up empty handed with most airlines refusing to move snub nosed breeds around, I finally found PetRelocation.com. The whole process was very positive, starting from being assigned a direct point of contact. Our relocation manager Abbey looked into and presented us with a couple of options of moving him.

Although two days before the move the airline suddenly cancelled on us, Abbey and her team were at it again and immediately managed to find another option for his move. She was always available and helpful answering all our questions (despite the time difference), and brought in as many options as possible keeping Chiku’s safety as the top most priority. What looked like an almost impossible move at the beginning was made possible with the help of Abbey and her team. Thank you!

When they delivered him to my door, he jumped out of the travel box, happy to see us, and immediately started sniffing around and checking out his new home. He wasn't stressed at all, though he does get uncomfortable when he doesn’t see us around for more than a few hours. I attribute much of that to the professional and friendly treatment he got along the way. Thanks to PetRelocation.com for making his move a safe and happy one. I know if I have move again, I will be calling you to handle the trip. Thanks for everything!!
