Pet Travel Question: Domestic Bird Travel

Name: Cathy

I have a pair of lovebirds and I'm moving. I am wondering if I should attempt to take them in the cabin with me on my flight or if there is another option.

Thanks,
Cathy

Hi Cathy,

Thanks for your question. Moving birds can be a little tricky, however domestic flights with lovebirds shouldn't be as difficult as an international move. Ultimately, it's always best to check with the airline directly to find out about their bird travel policies (Continental states that they allow birds in the cabin, for example, but you still want to call ahead of time to find out the specifics).

Please contact us if you're wondering about anything else, and good luck with your travels!
