Pet Travel Question: How to Find a Dog Travel Crate

Hi PetRelocation,

What does the US require for a Rottweiler acquired in Brazil, and do airlines provide or rent crates, or cargo crates? I'm thinking of using United Airlines.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,
Rudy

Hi Rudy,

Thanks for reaching out to us with your question! You'll need to buy an airline-approved crate that's also the right size for your dog (in your case it will probably be a pretty large kennel). Airlines typically do not rent crates.

Check out our site to find out more about pet travel crates, and don't hesitate to contact us if you have any more questions or if you'd like to find out more about our door-to-door services.

Finally, here are the pet import requirements for the United States to give you a better idea of what you'll need to do to prepare for this trip. We often use United Airlines, by the way, as they operate a pet-friendly pet program that places a priority on safety.

Good luck and let us know if we can help!
