Pet Travel Question: Moving a Cat from the US to Germany

My family is moving to Germany in July 2011. I'm not clear on the requirements for bringing my cat along. He has recently received a European microchip and has been vaccinated for Feline Leukemia and Rabies. Could you please tell me what else we will need for him to successfully enter Germany from the U.S? Thanks -Maggie

Thanks for the inquiry! Take a look at the Pet Import Requirements for Germany for an idea of what else you'll need to do. It sounds like you have a great start, but you'll need to obtain an International Health Certificate, an EU Vet Health Certificate, and USDA endorsements of a few documents in addition to what you've already done so far.
