Pet Travel Question: Moving a Dog to China

I am moving to China and plan on taking my dog. The issue is that my husband will be coming back and forth to the US with the dog. Will the quarantine process in China apply each time?

Every time you leave or enter a country you will need to meet the appropriate import requirements, even if you're only staying for a short time. Here are the import requirements for China -- note that quarantine restrictions depend on the port of entry.
