Pet Travel Question: Moving Dogs to Tanzania

To: Tanzania
Can I move with my two dogs from Germany to Tanzania? What are the requirements regarding import permits and vaccinations, etc...? I'm currently in Egypt; when necessary I will first go to Germany and then to Tanzania. Or, is it possible to travel from Egypt to Tanzania and obtain the import permit there? Many Thanks, -Karin

For the most up-to-date information, it's a good idea to double check with the proper authorities anytime you're planning an international move. In this case the Tanzanian Ministry of Agriculture should be able to tell you what you need to know. You'll need to see a vet in the country where your dogs are currently living.
