Pet Travel Question: Moving Dogs to the Rabies-Free UK

I have recently lost my job here in Dubai and have found a position back in the UK. Both dogs have been microchipped and their rabies jabs are up to date. I have not had the blood test done yet. Can I bring the dogs to the UK and do the quarantine in the UK? If yes, what documents do I need?

Congratulations on the new job! Here are the pet import requirements for the UK. It's also helpful to check out the DEFRA site, which outlines all the rules you'll face coming from Dubai. Be aware that the UAE is a qualified non-EU country, and you should also know that travel rules to the UK will be changing beginning in January 2012.
