Pet Travel Question: Moving from India to Canada

Name: Thomas
Number of Pets: 1
Pet Type: Dog
Pet Breed:  German Shepherd
From: India
To: Canada

Currently my German Shepherd is four months old but she will be ten months old when it’s time to travel. I’m planning to have all the vaccinations done, but how do I get her a microchip? How much will it cost to travel with her?

Thanks,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

These are the pet import requirements for Canada, which should give you a full idea of what you’ll need to do to prepare for this trip. Your veterinarian will be able to implant the microchip (you can find out more about ISO-compatible microchips on our blog), and if you’d like a comprehensive estimate of our services, you can get a free quote from PetRelocation.com.

Good luck with the trip, and we hope to hear from you soon!
