Hi,

We're planning to moving next year and would like to get everything together to get our pets to come with us. Our dog is up to date on health records as well as the cats. Not sure about what we would need for the rabbit, hamster, and bearded dragon. We plan on driving across the border, so if you could please give us some tips and as to what we would need for the pets, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -Jessica

Hi Jessica,

Thanks for the question! It's definitely a good idea to start planning early for any kind of pet move, so we applaud your efforts to get things going.

First, take a look at the Pet Import Requirements for Canada to make sure you have the basics covered. As far as the rabbit, hamster and bearded dragon, you can check out our guide to moving exotic pets, but it would also be wise to contact the proper Canadian officials to find out about driving across the border.

Good luck with everything, and don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions!
