Pet Travel Question: Shipping a Cat to Aruba?

Name: Eesha
Number of Pets: 1
Pet Type: Cat
Pet Breed: Persian
From: West Bloomfield, Michigan
To: Oranjestad, Aruba

Hey there. A year back, I moved to Aruba to do some foreign studying down here. I'm still here for a while. My cousin (who also lives with me) has been wanting a kitten for the past few years. I spent the past three weeks looking for a Persian kitten on the island, but it's difficult and I couldn't find any.

The next thing I'm resorting to is actually having my family back home buy and adopt a Persian kitten since there's plenty in MI. From there, I was hoping that your services would be able to relocate the cat from my home to the AUA (Oranjestad, Aruba) airport. I of course will not be adopting a kitten from the U.S. unless I know that you can provide that service and/or how much it costs, as well! Thank you so much, we really appreciate it!

Hi Eesha,

Thanks for your question! Here is a little bit of information about importing cats to Aruba. We recommend that pets be at least four months old before flying so that they can receive the proper vaccinations and will be ready for the travel experience.

If you'd like an estimate of our services, please fill out our free quote form. You may find that this process is more expensive than you'd like, so adopting a kitten from your local shelter might be a better option. Either way, we'd be happy to talk with you further. Good luck!
