Pet Travel Question: Tips for Dealing with Nervousness?

Name: Belen
Number of Pets: 1
Pet Type: Dog
Pet Breed: Boston Terrier

I am nervous to be traveling with my 6-month-old Boston Terrier. Do you have any advice or tips to calm my uneasiness, and do you have any relocation stories that deal with a Boston Terrier?

Thanks,
Belen

Hi Belen,

Thanks for your question! It's totally normal to feel nervous about pet travel and we're happy to talk you through it! We've moved many Boston Terriers (here's what we said to another customer who was feeling nervous), and it depends on where you're traveling of course, but we always recommend flying with a pet-friendly airline and talking to your vet about any concerns you have.

With snub-nosed breeds, heat restrictions may affect your travels and you definitely want to proceed carefully. Check the airline restrictions as you plan, and read more about traveling with snub-nosed breeds on our blog.

Good luck with everything, and feel free to give us a call if you'd like to chat with a Pet Relocation Specialist!
