How does the pet relocation process work, and how much does it cost?
Pet travel isn't exactly intuitive—it requires specialized knowledge that comes from lots of research and experience. In other words, you're doing the right thing by going online and asking questions!
Moving cats within the United States requires that they be up to date on their rabies vaccines, and if you're flying you'll need a vet health certificate stating the cats are fit to fly (this is required by all airlines). If you are flying, we recommend choosing a pet friendly airline (we often use United).
Other considerations include making sure your cats are as comfortable with their crates as possible—here are a few tips for crate training cats.
