Dear PetRelocation,

I would like to know an estimated cost to relocate two cats to Romania and also would like to know if I am required to have any medical checks or tests for the cats.

Thanks,
Gabriela

Hi Gabriela,

Thank you for your question. For an idea of what to expect, please take a look at the pet import requirements for Romania. Pets moving to the EU need to have microchips, full vaccinations and the proper import paperwork, so you'll need to allow a few weeks of preparation time before you go.

We'd be happy to tell you more about the door-to-door services we provide, which entail pre-move guidance as well as delivery to and from the airport. Our costs usually begin at around $2500 USD for one small pet to move internationally, but with a few more details we'll be able to give you a more precise estimate. Please fill out our free quote form or give our office a call if you'd like to find out more.

If you're thinking of organizing the move yourself, we recommend IPATA.org as a great source for hiring local agents to assist with part of the process. Please take a look at this information and then lets us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks again for reaching out, and good luck with your upcoming cat move!
