Being Separated from Family During a Pandemic: Boop’s Story

We all know that the pandemic caused by COVID-19 has made everyone rethink their plans. But for some, the virus put their plans on hold. That was the case when we were planning Boop's move to the UK. His family had to go ahead of him, but luckily our fast working team was on the case! Here's his story.

My dog, Boop, was meant to accompany me in March on my move to Scotland. Jill was there every step of the way, reassuring me and making sure all the paperwork and vet visits were in order. And then our plans came to a halt because of COVID-19.

Boop's flight was canceled, but mine wasn't. So, we were separated which was really stressful during a pandemic. Jill worked for months, diligently, and dedicatedly to reunite us. Jill had to deliver bad news to me, repeatedly, as things and travel were always shifting. I was so emotional. Jill did a great job holding my hand through this experience. She and the PetRelocation team explored every option and left no stone unturned.

They eventually figured out a way to get Boop home to me. Then, days before his rescheduled flight, there were problems with paperwork that the veterinarian had issued. Jill fought tooth and nail to make sure that everything went through. She made herself available, and never gave up. And she did it. I'm getting emotional now writing this. There were so many ups and downs, but I am so incredibly grateful to Jill and everyone at PetRelocaiton. It's been nearly one week since my baby and I were reunited and I am just beyond the moon happy. I am so appreciative. So grateful. I don't know what I would have done if I had had to do it without them. Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times!

You are so, so welcome!
