Cat Travel Spotlight: Fidget’s Move to the UK

Thanks to Fidget and his mom for trusting in our services for his hop across the pond! We're glad to report he's safe and sound in the UK—here's how his relocation went.

Ananda, my relocation specialist was amazing. She was always very helpful and usual answers all question before I even thought to answer them.

Having never moved a pet internationally before, she was very supportive and no question was perceived as stupid no matter how simple it was. She sorted out all the paperwork and liaisoned with my vet perfectly and she basically made a very stressful part of our move from the USA to the UK worry free.

I hope I don’t have to move my pet again but if I do I will definitely use PetRelocation or their UK counterpart.

Thank you!

Hi Kath, how did Fidget cope with the travelling? Looking at the photo Fidget looks great, is this after the move? I have five cats that I am looking at moving to the UK for Ohio, and am very nervous about the whole procedure. Look forward to hearing from you, Amanda

Hi Amanda! Thanks for your comment. Fidget did great because her owners took all the precautions before travel. I see you have made contact with Catie Cox, our UK sales consultant. She can fill you in on how to safely prepare your kitties for travel. In the meantime, here is a great link about crate training for kittieshere. Take a look at the Pet Import Requirements for the UK here as well to find out more about the preparations you'll need to make. The UK can seem an overwhelming place to move, so it's a good idea to get started as early as you can. We look forward to helping when the time comes!
