Incredible Experiences: Kuro’s Move to Australia

We recently helped Kuro, a sweet Pomeranian, move from Canada to Australia with his family. His owner Valerie was kind enough to send us an update after Kuro came home from quarantine. It's a great read!

Hi Keith,

Kuro is settling in nicely. He is definitely feeling the heat; it's in the 30s here now every day and it's almost too hot to go outside. Even in the house with the air conditioning on, he's still panting. He is drinking lots but hasn't eaten yet, I expect in a day or so he will when he's more rested.

He follows me around everywhere, but he was like that before I left, too. I was kinda worried that he would get depressed in quarantine, because it does happen, but he didn't seem too upset or doesn't look like he's lost too much weight! He's just happy overall to be here, like he can't believe he's with his mom again!

I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help during the past 6 months, I feel like you're family now!! As you know, I was very scared at the beginning of this whole process and had many fears and doubts, but you were always there to answer any questions I had and put my mind at ease.

I know I probably got on your nerves more than once with all my emails and questions, but you always went out of your way to get the appropriate answers for me and always made me feel like I was not being a bother.

When I look back now, you made the process a breeze! All I had to do was basically see to his vet visits and pay the money! You guys arranged the whole trip, the timing of his visits and the schedule for each, his quarantine and flights. It could not have gone better. Even when I left Canada myself in November, you continued to keep contact with my sister and the vet for me. I am extremely happy with your professionalism and would definitely recommend you to anyone that may ask.

I would also like to thank Sarah Smith, she also went out of way to answer my questions and personally called me during a long weekend in the US, because she knew I was freaking out!  Sarah had even referred me to a couple of past clients, whom I did email, to get their side of the story, which was a huge help to me, and this also calmed me down.

Overall, I am very happy with your company and my experience, and that Kuro arrived safe and sound during the whole ordeal. You are true professionals and really do care about the pets :)  I feel like I cannot thank you enough!!

Take care,

Valerie
