Pet Travel Story: Loochy’s Move From New Jersey to California
Incredible Experiences: Cross Country Dog Travel
I wanted to just write a brief appreciation and thank you to PetReclocation.
My name is Chris White, I'm a native of New Jersey, and I was recently relocated by my job to beautiful sunny San Diego to one of my company's new operations centers.
When my boss had asked me to move 3,000 miles away from home, friends, and family, I had asked him when would he need me there. He promptly said, “five weeks from now.” So many things went through my head about having such little time to change my entire life, and my number one was, "what about my pup and best pal Loochy?"
Through all the hassle of coordinating furniture shipping, tying up loose ends on east coast business, making sure I see friends and family before my trip, just the whole head spinning experience altogether, Katie with PetRelocation was there with me every step of the way.
She was always professional with checking in on progress of the move, was always able to be flexible in helping me figure out what was the most cost effective way on getting my Little Loochiano out to the west coast, and all in all she really made me comfortable with the entire process.
While I was in California settling in on a place to live, managing the new sales team here, and getting ready for all my things (and of course my little man), Katie was still there checking in on arranging flights and pick up and arrival for Loochy.
At the time, The Looch was staying with my mother on the Jersey Shore, and when the time came for him to make his journey west, my mother said the representative who came to the door at in the middle of the night for his early flight was so pleasant, was able to handle Loochy with great care, and she said was really at ease with him taking her “granddog” to the airport.
Throughout Loochy’s long flight, Katie texted letting me know exactly where he was and how he was doing and I can’t tell you how much that meant to me.
All in all, I just wanted to say thank you to Katie, and wanted to share with you that me and the Loochenstein are doing well and living the life, California dreaming! Just a boy and his dog! Thanks Katie, you’re the best!
