Importing a Dog to the US: Buddy’s Travel Story

Preparing to move a pet safely overseas requires a lot of planning, and can be even more stressful when the pet is a little older. We aim to take as much stress out of the process as possible by managing every step and keeping pet owners updated until their furry family member arrives safely to their new home. See what one pet owner had to say about his recent experience moving his Labrador Retriever Buddy from India to the US.

We were so anxious about the whole relocation process. We were not aware of the all the processes involved. We were also worried since Buddy was over 10 years old and he was also not used to being away from the family at all. PetRelocation made the whole process simple from the day one. Kelcey was so helpful and patient answering all our questions and getting us connected with their local agents. We also got us regular updates throughout Buddy's journey which gave us comfort through the whole process. I loved their door-to-door service!! Buddy is now happily back with us and enjoying his new home in the US :-)

Thanks to PetRelocation!

Hi Leila! Our pets have transited Munich before with no issues, but the transit process differs per airline. It would be best to call and check with the airline you have booked your pet's flight on for their procedures for you pup. Hope this helps!

My son is in the Navy stationed in Rota Spain, He has a Labrador Retriever that he bought as a puppy there in Spain. He now has new orders bringing him back to Norfolk Virginia and he is being told that he may not be able to bring his family's pet home with him and is desperately looking for some answers and help. He does not want to loose his fur baby and needs to see what other options are available. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.
